Children who complete Underwater Missions 1 through 5 become PADI Seal Team members and receive
an acknowledgment card. The first five underwater missions involve scuba diving skills
Pool - Dive One of the PADI Open Water Diver course leading to certification as a PADI Junior Scuba
Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver can be credited.
The remaining ten underwater missions include activities such as underwater photography, or night diving
search and recovery. PADI Seals who complete all 15 underwater missions become PADI Master Seals and
receive a corresponding acknowledgment card.
Since the emphasis is on recognition and achievement, the children "celebrate" everyone's graduation
each underwater mission by having their instructor sign a seal sticker and inserting it into their PADI Seal
Team logbook sticks.
The development of the scuba skills presented in the PADI Seal Team program occurs in the shallow water
Swimming pool area, at a maximum depth of 2 meters. The maximum depth for all activities is 4 meters.
