The DAN First Aid course is aimed at graduates of the Basic Life Support (BLS) course who want to learn first aid techniques for treating injuries and illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening.
In the DAN First Aid course, you will learn first aid techniques for people in situations that are not immediately life-threatening. The programme includes the assessment and treatment of injuries and illnesses. Participants learn techniques for stabilising the condition of an injury and assessing a person's state of health, as well as the correct procedure for alerting the emergency services.
In the first aid course, you will learn how to protect yourself as a rescuer and how to use various types of personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
